A distribution adminstrator has a couple duties to make sure the distribution list is organized and running efficiently.

• Monitor the admin e-mail for new subscribers, bounced messages, etc.
• Create or update the distribution list description text. The text describing what the list is for, why someone would want to subscribe, or what it's focus is. The adminstrator makes sure that information is up to date and accurate
• Subscription welcome text, message text, and unsubscribe text needs to be worded focused towards the distribution topic. The administrator makes sure that text fits the distribution list. So, when someone subscribes, you want to give them a friendly message welcoming them to the list. If someone unsubscribes, you want to say it's a shame to see them go and hope they come back soon.

"Yes, my distribution list has been created" - you should have received a password to sign in, as the administrator. If you did not recieve a password or lost your password, send a request to webmin@histasks.org.
